Niki & Jon had a beautiful Spring Wedding in Pulaski Square. Wedding day coverage began over at The Ogelthorpe Lodge on Bay Street. The group rented the entire three story building and courtyard for their wedding party and guests also stayed at the adjacent hotel. We began with getting ready photos of the group then walked over to Reynold’s Square where the couple had a first look and spent a few moments alone taking photos before their ceremony. The wedding party had portraits and then took Ogelthorpe Trolleys over to Pulaski Square. Once again, it had been raining the day before but it ended up being the most perfect day for a wedding and everything was spectacular. After the ceremony, we did family photos and bridal portraits in Pulaski Square then the entire group, including wedding guests then boarded the trolleys to go to the reception at Vic’s on The River. Before entering the Reception, the wedding party had additional photos on Factor’s walk. Once at Vic’s on The River, the night was kicked off with a Cocktail hour followed by appetizers, dinner and dancing. After dinner, guests enjoyed The Blush Photo Booth, an ice cream bar from Leopold’s, line dancing lessons and a candy buffet. The night ended with a sparkler send off on Factor’s Walk.
Their Story: Jon and are high school sweethearts! We currently live in Fayetteville, NC. We both grew up in Hollywood, FL. Jon is an Airborne Infantry Sniper for the United States Army and I’m an Emergency Room Nurse. Jon has been in the Army for over three years. He has never been stationed in Savannah, but I always have my fingers crossed! I fell in love with Savannah the first time we visited. It is just so beautiful! We chose Pulaski Square because I had always envisioned our wedding under giant oak trees, Pulaski square is filled with magnificent trees and surrounded by historic homes.
