We began the day by meeting Yuliya and Angel along with their wedding party at The Ogelthorpe Lodge. The couple reserved the first and second floor of the lodges which are historic cottages that have a perfect location downtown, facing Factor’s Walk and Bay Street. We then went to St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church for the couple’s candlelight ceremony. After grouup photos in Reynold’s Square, we then took additional photos at The Olde Pink House which was the Reception Venue for this wedding. For many couples Savannah is a destination, but for Yuliya and Angel, Savannah is home, so they will get reflect on their wedding day whenever they drive by their locations. Angel is a Detective for Savannah Chatham Metro Police and Yuliya is originally from Belarus. Yuliya’s family members in Belarus were able to view the wedding as it unfolded via live feed organized by Yuliya’s mother. It was a wonderful to photograph this couple as they enjoyed their special day. Best wishes to them!
What made you choose The Old Pink House and Savannah as the location for your wedding? We fell in love with the building and the ballroom. It was romantic and so beautiful, that we no longer wanted to look for anything else and the food is absolutely phenomenal.
